"Dangerous Smartphones" publication released

We are pleased to announce that Prevenity team released the latest publication dedicated to the security of smartphone devices.

The published document discusses security threats and possibilities to perform attacks with leveraging modern mobile devices such as iPhone, Blackberry as well as Symbian, Android and Windows Mobile - based devices.

Besides discussing mobile malware possibilities, the publication presents a number of unknown and currently possible to carry out attacks, targeting e-banking and micropayments services, as well as method of users’ and transactions’ authentication leveraging cellular phones. In addition, the publication shows also the risks to the privacy of users of smartphones and possibilities of using elements of social engineering.
